Start of a New Life

The vast majority of the population abhores the idea of moving, not only because they must now become reacquinted with a new locality, but most people just dread the very thought of packing and unpacking. On the other hand, I deviate from that normal mentality and actually enjoy moving EVERY year.

It feels like a adventure to begin a new life in a new location, exploring the surrounding neighborhood and hopefully making new friends. I look forward to donating old useless items and clothing that I never use or wear so that others in need of such items would appreciate and actually make good use of these things. I'm sure you remember the saying "Your trash is other people's treasure"... probably not repeated verbatim, but you get the idea.

Nevertheless, I finally finished unpacking my essentials and after setting up my bookshelf, I realized that all the books, cd's, dvd's that I put in there are only for show and I never touch it. I think I may just leave all of it in boxes for the time being. Maybe one day when I get hella bored I'll unpack it. =)

World of Warcraft

After almost 2 years of resisting the temptation of this supposedly super-addictive MMORG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game), I have finally thrown in the towel and purchased this game for a mere $24.99! Anyone out there want to join me?? I have a feeling it will be quite similar to Guild Wars which is another non-subscription MMORG game that I played for 3-4 months but I've been told that World of Warcraft is far superior and once you start playing you will be ADDICTED! Nevertheless, now that I have some free time I think I deserve a bit of fun entertainment.

Most people can't imagine how enjoyable it is to be able to personally create a character and watch it grow stronger as it gains experience through its travels in the World of Warcraft. I find it analogous to having a pet or even a child where similarly, as the days progress, this character like a child evolves based on the amount of time and effort that you dedicate to its growth. Unlike the first person shooter or puzzle games which ends once you die or lose, this a MMORG builds upon the previous day so that you can "appreciate" the energy/time that was expended on playing it.
