F.E.A.R

Currently playing F.E.A.R. or First Encounter Assault Recon. Not one to be easily scared by too many things, I would have to admit that this game actually makes me jump at times with its awesome sound affects, pools of gooey blood everywhere, and that freaky girl that mimics the character from "The Ring". Unlike Doom or Painkiller, which are slasher horror type games where monsters jump out of dark corners, F.E.A.R seems to try to intermix something more along the lines of The Sixth Sense or Ju-On. Often times while walking through eerie dark regions of this game strange sounds will emanate and shadowy figures will drift by and suddenly dissapear.

Anyhow, I highly recommend it for any gamers that are into scary movies or even girls that like to watch scary movies. (I don't mind having a female audience while I play =P") This game is graphics/memory intensive and makes me feel as though my recent desktop upgrade was fully worth the cost. It seems as though most computers these days are under-utilized given that the majority of people merely use it to do word processing, excel spreadsheets, browse, email, and chat. You could run a 5 year old 500 mhz computer and still do that easily... well maybe slightly slower but it still gets the job done. =)

Pisces

"Pisces possess a gentle, patient, malleable nature. They have many generous qualities and are friendly, good natured, kind and compassionate, sensitive to the feelings of those around them, and respond with the utmost sympathy and tact to any suffering they encounter. They are deservedly popular with all kinds of people, partly because their easygoing, affectionate, submissive natures offer no threat or challenge to stronger and more exuberant characters.

They accept the people around them and the circumstances in which they find themselves rather than trying to adapt them to suit themselves, and they patiently wait for problems to sort themselves out rather than take the initiative in solving them. They are more readily concerned with the problems of others than with their own. They are never egotistical in their personal relationships and give more than they ask from their friends."

Revisiting my Past

Years slip away with the blink of the eye and before I even realized it, my former life in San Diego has become merely a figment of my memory. A fortunate Southwest special allowed me the opportunity to revisit my undergrad years of midnight Indian casino trips, El Coti Carne Asada burrito's, Korean Soju drinking at Min Sok Chan, shopping at Fashion Valley, and partying it up in the Gaslamp District. The picture above depicts beautiful La Jolla Shores on a perfectly sunny day just as I remembered it, which is a stark contrast from bay area gloomy weather! I would like to personally thank all those individuals that gallantly sacrificed their time to drive from LA area to spend some quality drunk time with me.

There are those that have the luxury of living the good life in the sanctuary of La Jolla cove bathing under the warm sun. I'm referring to seals of course! What a glorious existence these creatures lead with their worry free lifestyle, relying merely on their primal instincts to survive and thrive. While on the other hand, humans squander away natural resources to further their elaborate lifestyles that only portray a artificial sense of happiness. What exactly is the true purpose of life... sometimes I feel that animals have it far better then human beings. (As long as we don't hunt them down, invade their natural habitat, or poison their food source with our pollution.)
